She shared her life story, recalling how her voice was a source of comfort for her grandmother during challenging times. Through her Instagram, Ayra Starr disclosed that she once assisted her grandmother in selling fruits and vegetables, with people paying her for her singing services.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, “I will forever be grateful for where I am. God really blessed me, 6 years ago, this used to be me selling vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing for whoever wanted to hear me. Now people are paying to watch me perform.”
