Azeez Olajide Adediran Challenges Tribunal Verdict, Branding Babajide Sanwo-Olu's Victory as "Temporary"

The former gubernatorial candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos state, Azeez Olajide Adediran, has characterized a recent tribunal judgment that upheld Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory as merely a temporary outcome.

The Governorship Election Petition Court tribunal in Ikeja reiterated that Babajide Sanwo-Olu remains the governor of Lagos state, following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s declaration of his victory.

Subsequent to the court’s decision, Babajide Sanwo-Olu issued a statement, extending an invitation for collaborative discussions regarding the future of Lagos with his political adversaries.

However, this statement has not been well-received by the Peoples Democratic candidate, who intends to challenge the credibility of the tribunal’s ruling that affirmed the victory of the All Progressives Congress candidate.
