The presidential election petition court has validated Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory election against the petition of Atiku Abubakar the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and his counterpart Labour Party candidate, Mr Gregory Peter Obi.
The tribunal court judgment stated that Bola Ahmed Bola was duly elected by the majority of the lawful votes and therefore all the petitions lack merits and should be dismissed and quashed.
Furthermore, the tribunal verdict stated that the labour candidate Mr. Peter Obi and his counterpart PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar failed to prove non-compliance statutory of the 25 February poll.
Judge Haruna Tsammani further ruled on the following petitions filed by the opposition parties that Abuja citizen has no special privileges ahead of other states. This statement validated the issue of 25% of votes in the federal capital territory of Abuja.
On the issue of drug indictment, Judge Haruna Tsammani ruled that the Tinubu drug case has been more than 10 years and has no merits. He stated that the United States doesn’t impose a sentence of imprisonment, ban Bola Ahmed Tinubu from entering America or arraign him, therefore the petition lacks legal merit and is liable for disposal.
