Social media has become a platform for various celebrities and bloggers to express their controversial opinions concerning the tragic passing of Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad.
Amidst the call for justice by Nigerians following Mohbad’s untimely demise, a Nigerian TikTok influencer known as Verydarkblackman has suggested conducting a DNA test on Mohbad’s son as potential evidence, raising concerns about the child’s biological connection to the late rapper.
Mohbad’s wife from Nigeria has promptly rejected this suggestion, while her sister has threatened legal action for defamation of character against Verydarkblackman if he proceeds with the recommendation.
On her Instagram, she wrote, “Verydark man, you’ve no right whatsoever to request for DNA”. Adding that “The families are grieving.” “Please thread carefully so you don’t get sued. I think #300 Million will not be bad for defamation of character” she added.
Social media is abuzz with conflicting opinions about the idea of conducting a DNA test for Mohbad’s son. Some argue that DNA testing should be considered a shred of substantial evidence, while others believe it could be unjust to the late rapper’s wife.
