Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Israel finds itself in a state of conflict, adding that while they did not seek this situation, it was imposed upon them in a cruel and relentless manner.
He wrote, “Israel is at war. We didn’t want this war. It was forced upon us in the most brutal and savage way”.
Benjamin also declared that Israel is committed to bringing the ongoing conflict initiated by Palestinian militants to a resolution, emphasizing that Hamas will come to appreciate the consequences of attacking Israel once the situation has been addressed.
His statement reads, “But though Israel didn’t start this war, Israel will finish it. Once, the Jewish people were stateless. Once, the Jewish people were defenceless. No longer. Hamas will understand that by attacking us, they have made a mistake of historic proportions. We will exact a price that will be remembered by them and Israel’s other enemies for decades to come”.
Benjamin further emphasized that the assault carried out by Hamas against Israel is brutal in nature.
He wrote, “The savage attacks that Hamas perpetrated against innocent Israelis are mindboggling: slaughtering families in their homes, massacring hundreds of young people at an outdoor festival, kidnapping scores of women, children and elderly, even Holocaust survivors. Hamas terrorists bound, burned and executed children They are savages. Hamas is ISIS”.
The ongoing conflict in Israel has resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, causing numerous casualties on both sides. Numerous nations have joined in urging both countries to de-escalate the tension and pursue peace through diplomatic dialogue.
