Following the Lagos police command’s declaration of Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, as a wanted individual with a 1 million Naira bounty for failing to respond to their summons regarding the investigation into Mohbad’s death, he voluntarily surrendered himself within a few hours.
The Lagos State spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, alerted the general public to Primeboy’s wanted status in the country, and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, CP Idowu Owohunwa, had offered a 1 million Naira reward for information leading to his whereabouts.
Owodunni Ibrahim has now voluntarily surrendered, and Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that he is currently in police custody.
He wrote, “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.”
The spokesperson also assured Mohbad’s supporters and family members that they would spare no effort in their investigation. “The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation,” he added.
The Lagos State Police Command has pledged to ensure that all individuals responsible for the demise of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad, are brought to justice.
Additionally, he stated, “The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.|”.
