Labour Party has rejected the verdict of (PEPT) presidential election petition tribunal that dismissed Peter Obi’s petition on disqualification of Tinubu.
The judgment struck out Peter Obi’s petitions against the victory of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the February 25 polls.
On Wednesday, September 6 the tribunal struck out Obi’s petitions on the grounds of irregularities and lack of evidence.
National publicity secretary of the Labour Party Obiora Ifoh in a statement expressed concern stating that the tribunal judgment does reflect the law and will of the people.
Labour Party will announce the next course of action after consulting with the legal team and receiving the Certified True Copy of the judgement, Mr Obiora added.
