PDP Saga: Nobody Has The Power To Expel Or Suspend Me - Gov. Wike Dares

Nigerian former governor of River State and minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Gov. Nyesom Wike has dared anyone to suspend or expel him from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). ┬áNyesom Wike had an executive interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channel Television tagged, “ONE ON ONE WITH NYESOM WIKE” on the subject of his membership and the consequences of engaging in anti-party by entertaining the opposition party.

Wike maintained his position in PDP as an active member and also said there was nothing anyone could do about it. He believed he had never met anyone who would suspend or expel him from the party.

Seun furthered the question by asking that his actions and engagement with opposition parties might not be accepted by the PDP executives and those in higher authorities.

How can anyone think of expelling me? I have not seen that person. I want to dare anyone to suspend me. Wike Replied. The FCT minister in a resolute manner classified the failures of the People’s Democratic Party by not producing Governors, Senates, House of Reps and not even LGA Chairmen.

If you can’t produce representatives from state to federal levels you have no right to suspend me. PDP needs discipline, not me. They violated party constitutions by not obeying geopolitical rotation and had no power to discipline me.

I am a man of character, I can tell you authoritatively, Wike told Seun Okinbaloye.

Wike publicly stated that PDP governors wrote nomination letters to the APC government and nobody has ever denied it.
