The ongoing petition of the Labour Party and Mr Peter Obi on the alleged drug indictment of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the United States of America has been quashed and dismissed by the PEPC verdict.
The Presidential Election Petition Court has struck out Mr. Peter Obi’s petition saying it is baseless because Ahmed Tinubu wasn’t banned from travelling to the United States of America or arraigned.
Mr Peter Obi and the Labour Party have failed to provide evidence that Ahmed Tinubu was convicted of money laundering in the United States. There is no record of conviction or criminal record established against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Justice Haruna Tsammani added.
He also further the statement with that Tinubu did not take a plea, or imprisonment charges and was not arraigned.
