Tweeps Reacts as Bolanle Raheem Killer sentenced by Hanging

Police Officer Drambi Vandi has been sentenced to death by hanging, as reported by Eons Intelligence, following his conviction for the murder of the late Mrs Bolanle Raheem, a pregnant lawyer based in Lagos.

The Lagos State High Court has found the policeman guilty based on one murder charge. “The court found the defendant guilty on one count of murder. You will be hanged by the neck till you are dead,”

It’s important to recall that on Christmas Day in 2022, at the Ajah roundabout, a police officer fatally shot Bolanle Raheem, resulting in her immediate death along with her unborn child.

The Tweeps have reacted to the verdict given to Drambi Vandi by Honourable Judge Ibironke Harrison on Monday.

A user wrote, “Justice is served. Mrs Bolanle Raheem will rest now & this judgement shall continue to ring a bell to our rogue officers who always act unprofessional during their duties. The officer will also serve what he serves others. What goes around comes around”.

Another user wrote, “Which Governor will sign this death sentence? Governors most time don’t sign this document”

A third user added, “Good. Finally some good news today. May God grant both families the fortitude to bear their losses”

The comments from Tweeps indicate a unanimous belief that justice has now been delivered to the late expectant mother, Mrs. Bolanle Raheem, who tragically lost her life to a police officer’s fatal gunshot.
